the sea

Sea Triptych  Mixed media and encaustic on linen. 80x25cm.
Today something different... the sea again ! This one is done mostly in encaustic, as I try to express the movement of the sea through the roughness of the lines that I scratch into the melted wax. The next one , will be much bigger on more panels ... but different :-)

  4. your blog is very inspiring Michele .. I will keep visiting ... thank you for signing in as a follower for my blog (I actually did not mean that one when I first mentioned blogging - but it is so good you choose it) .. that group is sailing rather rough seas and I am not sure where is it going to lead ... but i think as long as we keep sailing it might be interesting to document it ... I hope it is not going to sink to soon :)
