Heart

Heart  Encaustic and mixed media on paper   29x41cm.

Back at work since yesterday ..... After just 3 weeks of a break, I have the feeling I need to relearn to paint ... and the big questions comes : "WHAT" to paint .... and also a little bit "WHY" to paint ! 
I just need few days to get back into the rhythm I suppose.
 I did enjoy the smell of the hot wax and the oil though :)

    Hi Michele, I know just how you feel. I'm struggling a bit with the same questions. Your "Heart" is a very interesting piece. I really like the composition and the repetition of the heart.

    I suppose like anything even art can seem like a chore at times - yet the answer to why I suppose is because we just have to. Great work - contemplative - questioning.
